All visitors to the Maldives will receive a complimentary 30-day visa, provided they are in possession of a return air ticket and a passport that is valid for at least 6 months. Please ensure that you always have the copy of your return flight ticket and Fihalhohi booking confirmation, and evidence of adequate funds to avoid any problems at the Immigration.

Pornographic materials, materials contrary to Islam, idols for worship, pork and related products, dogs, live plants and live animals, medicines or steroids, gun powder and explosives, weapons, firearms and ammunition, spear guns and chemicals. Alcoholic beverages cannot be imported without an official license.

It is not necessary to change any money to the local currency. Within the resort, you are asked to sign all your extras to your villa. You may check your bills at any time and pay it daily if you wish. The resort accepts US Dollars, Euros, Sterling Pound, Swiss Francs, and major credit cards. The resort is not accepting travelers cheque.

Visa, MasterCard, Union Pay and American Express. Diners Card is not accepted by the banks in The Maldives.

We provide combined chargeable speedboat transfers based on your international flight schedule. If you are staying in some other resort prior to your arrival, please advise us the name of the hotel or resort and our Front office Team will coordinate directly with them to ensure your smooth transfers. Kindly note that we will require your flight details at least 72 hours prior to your arrival to arrange the speedboat transfers accordingly.

We can provide transfers from nearby islands, however this service needs to be confirmed at least 48 hours in advance and is subject to availability. Fares will vary according to the distance from the location of the island.

Combined transfers will require you to wait for a little, while all guests are cleared from Immigration and have been identified prior to commencing your journey onwards. Private transfers are arranged at your own convenience and do not require the waiting period.

Unfortunately no such public transportation service.

You can make your own transfer arrangements with a third party vendor, however we will strongly advise against this as the hotel will not guarantee the safety of the journey or the coordinator of the boat. Please ensure that you need to have these checked and confirmed prior to arriving to the resort.

Our airport representative will be waiting for your arrival at the Arrival Hall. Due to safety and privacy concern, the placard will only contain the Fihalhohi Island Resort logo and not with your name on it. In the event of you not being able to locate our airport representative, as they might be with other guests, we kindly request you to proceed to our airport counter number E1. Kindly ask airport personnel for assistance.

For your own safely, please avoid smoking in your room and do not smoke in the Main Restaurant.

Standard Amenities In all rooms Adapter, Air-conditioning, Bathroom amenities, Bath & Beach towel , Ceiling fan, Hair Dryer, safety box, Telephone , mini bar (chargeable). Benefits are applicable to all guests staying at the resort. We offer to all guests staying at the resort a welcome drink and cold face towels upon arrival.

We have square pin UK electrical sockets in all our rooms and the voltage is 220.

When you come to the restaurants, the dress code requires men to wear at least a T-shirt and shorts and ladies to cover their body with a long T-shirt or a sarong/dress.

Regular evening entertainment is available including discos, DJs, live band, movie nights and karaoke.

Yes, children of all ages are welcome. But we do not recommend having children below the age of 12 in the water Villa due to safety reasons. However, this is allowed and a waiver form is required to be signed by the parents who wish to stay with their children in water villas.

Departure timing will be finalized and details sent to your room one day prior to your check-out date. We always try to send you to the airport 2 to 3 hours prior to your international flight time.Our last transfer is at 14:30hrs. All guest with late evening or late night international flights will be transferred on this last transfer.
